Indian Railways: North Western Railway, breaking all its old records, has not only surpassed all the zones in the time table of passenger trains, but also created a record in the freight loading last year. In comparison, 33.9 percent more goods have been shipped.
Indian Railways is maintaining full focus on the operation of passenger trains to goods trains. Many railway zones are also breaking the previous records regarding this.North Western Railway(North Western Railway),

According to Vijay Sharma, General Manager, North Western Railway, special focus has been laid on rail operations on the Zonal Railways so that maximum convenience can be provided to the passenger and goods consumers.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, special focus has been given on the operation of passenger trains. North Western Railway ranks first on entire Indian Railways by achieving punctuality of 98.36% this year.
North Western Railway has been leading the entire Indian Railways in punctuality of passenger trains for the last three years.
Special efforts are being made by the Railways to ensure that there is an uninterrupted supply of essential materials in every part of the country. At present, innovative experiments are being done in freight loading on North Western Railway, as a result of which loading of new items of Industrial Water, Putty, Onion, Kinnow and China Clay etc. has been started.
Zonal Railways did 29.55 million tonnes of freight this year: 29.55 million tonnes of freight
was loaded on Zonal Railways in this financial year 2021-22, which is the highest ever since the establishment of North Western Railway. North Western Railway has loaded 33.9% more freight as compared to last year. This growth rate is highest among all Indian Railways.
On an average 260 trains per day were given at interchange to
other Zonal Railways on North Western Railway this year, which is 37.79% more than last year average of 188 trains.
On the instructions of General Manager Vijay Sharma, North Western Railway has carved a distinct identity on the entire Indian Railways in passenger and goods transport operations and is marching towards new heights.
