A senior officer gave information about this. Vistara proposes to start flights from New Delhi to Bali, Indonesia. At the same time, Indigo has sought permission to start flights from New Delhi to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

Delhi-Tbilisi flight will start from August 7

It was told by the official that the Delhi-Tbilisi flight of Indigo will start from 7th August. On the other hand, Vistara will start flight services on the Delhi-Bali route from August 1. Vistara is currently in the process of merger with Air India. Let us tell you that the ownership of Air India is with the Tata Group. After the start of the new flight, it is expected that the fare on the international route will be reduced. Indigo, on the other hand, has placed an order for 500 aircraft with European aircraft manufacturer Airbus.

In the statement issued by Indigo, 1000 aircraft were included in the orderbook, it was said that this is the largest order of aircraft given by any airline. The aircraft purchase agreement was signed during the ‘Paris Air Show 2023’. “With orders for 500 aircraft placed for the period 2030 to 2035, the airline’s orderbook has reached close to 1,000 aircraft, which will be delivered over the next decade,” IndiGo said in a statement.

Indigo has already placed orders for 480 aircraft, which are yet to be delivered. At present there are more than 300 aircraft in its fleet. IndiGo’s new aircraft order includes A20 Neo, A321 Neo and A321 XLR aircraft. At the beginning of the year, Tata Group’s airline Air India had also placed an order for the supply of 470 aircraft jointly to Airbus and Boeing.
