Infinix has launched a new smartphone called Infinix Zero 40 5G. The latest phone has been brought to Malaysia. The phone has an AMOLED display working with 144Hz refresh rate. It has a large battery supporting 45W fast charging. This phone is expected to be introduced in India soon.

Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced at RM 1,699 (approximately Rs 32,794), which is for the single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It comes in three colour options. Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black. The smartphone is currently available in Malaysia and is expected to be launched in India as well.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G sports a 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM along with 256GB of storage.

It has a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP sensor at the back. The smartphone also supports front and rear 4K vlogging and has a dedicated GoPro mode.
Talking about the software, the phone runs on Android based XOS 14.5 out of the box. It will get Android updates for three years. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 20W wireless charging support.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: What’s new?
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is a successor to the Zero 30 5G that was launched in India in September last year. Infinix has made a design change for the circular camera in the new model. The ultra-wide camera on the Infinix Zero 40 5G has been upgraded from a 13MP sensor to a 50MP sensor. The battery capacity remains the same, but fast charging has been reduced from 68W to 45W.
