A user on the social networking site Reddit told that he bought the 256GB storage variant of the iPhone 16 for less than Rs 27,000 due to a big discount. Whereas the price of this variant in the Indian market has been kept at Rs 89,900. The user shared a screenshot showing how he was able to buy the device so cheaply with the help of his credit card. It is claimed that this was possible due to the reward points available in HDFC Bank card.

The user claimed that he used HDFC Infinia Credit Card to buy iPhone 16 (256GB) and he had to pay only Rs 26,970. The remaining Rs 62,930 was paid through the credit card reward points present in the card.
