Police said that some people came to know about the presence of terrorists in Goripora village in the early hours of this morning. As soon as the information was received, a combined team of 50 RR, CRPF and Avantipora police of the army reached the village and started a search operation to search for the terrorists. Seeing themselves surrounded, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. Security forces also retaliated by taking their positions. Three terrorists have been killed so far. This is the second consecutive encounter in South Kashmir in the last 24 hours. At present, firing is going on from both sides. Security forces say that the identity of the terrorists will be possible only after the encounter ends.
On Friday evening, two militants were killed by security forces in an encounter in Kharpora Arvani area of ​​Anantnag district. These terrorists were kidnapping the policeman and taking him with them. The policeman was also injured in this encounter.
