In response to a recent directive from TRAI, Jio, Airtel and VI have launched new plans. Which provide only voice calls and SMS facilities. These plans have been introduced keeping in mind people who do not need data. Earlier, even if someone does not need data, he had to pay the full amount. But now it is not so.

Jio has launched a new plan for customers which includes only voice calls and text messages (SMS). Also, the price of one of its existing plans has also been reduced. This decision comes after Airtel cut the prices of its voice and SMS-only plans. This reduction has been done after complaints from mobile users in India.

Effect of action

At the same time, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recently announced that it would review such plans, after which companies like Jio, Airtel and VI were forced to make changes in it. In response to a recent directive from TRAI, Jio, Airtel and Vi have launched new plans that only offer voice calls and SMS.
