Jio Plans Updated: Here is the Full List of New Prepaid & Postpaid Recharges

As a part of Diwali tariff revision Jio plans have been updated as that telecom operator declared a fortnight ago. The revised Jio plan is applicable on both prepaid and postpaid plans and came into effect on the day of Diwali from October 19. While some plans have been discontinued, others have been added to the list, but the biggest shocker is that there is a rise of 15% in the price of Rs.399 plan. Postpaid users will also get validities for shorter duration under the new Jio tariff revision and the 64kbps post-FUP speed is now down from 128kbps for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.



Here is the full list of new Jio plans that you get, even those that the company has not mentioned in its list of plans on the official website.

Jio prepaid plans

Rs. 9,999

This one is the costliest Jio plan for prepaid users, the Rs. 9,999 recharge pack gives customers 750GB data for 360 days, without any daily FUP. However, the package includes free voice calls and SMSes and complimentary access to the company’s apps.

Rs. 4,999

With validity of 360 days the Rs. 4,999 pack gives the user 350GB of high-speed data. There’s no daily limit on the data consumption with this plan too. Also the plan includes unlimited calls (on roaming as well), 100 free SMSes per day, and free subscription to its apps with the pack.

Rs. 1,999

The Rs. 1,999 plan with validity of 180 days offers buyers 125GB data, without any consumption limit cap. Freebies such as the free calls and SMSes and apps subscription are also included in this plan.

Rs. 999

Jio’s Rs. 999 plan comes with 60GB of data which can be used for 90 days, again, with no limitations on how much data is used in a day. The freebies stay here too.

Rs. 799

Available for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus customers, the Rs. 799 recharge comes with 3GB data per day and validity of 28 days. This plan is not mentioned on the official Jio website, but can be found in the MyJio app or the recharge section of the site.  Free calls and other freebies are also included with this pack and become eligible for the 70% iPhone 8/ iPhone 8 Plus buyback offer that Jio is giving to the users.




Rs. 509

The Rs. 509 Jio plan is the costliest one with a daily cap – you will get 2GB of 4G data per day valid for 49 days. This amounts to 98GB data for the validity period. Free calls and SMSes and Jio apps subscription is also a part of this plan.

Rs. 491

At Rs.491, this one gives you 91GB data for 91 days at 1GB per day. You will not be able to find this plan on the Jio website in the list, but can be found in the recharge page for sure. You will get the free calls, SMSes and Jio apps if you avail this pack.

Rs. 459

The newest plan on the block, the Rs. 459 Jio plan provides the user with 1GB data per day and the freebies, valid for 84 days. The new plan provides almost the same benefits that the Rs. 399 plan but at a higher price.

Rs. 399

With the tariff revision, instead of the 84 days the company is now giving 70 days of validity. Other details, like 1GB data allocation per day and freebies is same as in other plans.

Rs. 309

While this Rs.309 plan is not listed on the company’s official website, the Jio Rs. 309 plan can be still purchased from the MyJio app and the recharge section of the website. It still comes with 1GB data per day and the other free items, but the validity has been reduced from 56 days to 49 days.

Rs. 149

Valid for 28 days, the amount of data the company is bundling with this Rs.149 plan is just 4.2 GB. Additionally, there is a cap of 150MB on high-speed data consumption per day. In place of 100 SMSes per day, only 300 free text messages are included in this plan, along with the calls and apps access.

Rs. 98

Available with 14-day validity, the Jio Rs. 98 plan comes with 2.1GB data, doled out in tranches of 150MB per day. Free calls and subscription to the company’s apps is there. But for the entire validity period, free SMSes are limited to 140 texts for the users.

Rs. 52

Then there’s the new Rs. 52 pack with 7-day validity with 150MB daily high-speed data cap, totaling 1.05GB data. Buyers will get 70 free SMSes, free calls and access to Jio apps with this recharge pack.



Rs. 19

Another one which is not listed on the official website, this pack comes with 150MB data and validity of one day. With this pack, users will get free calls, 100 SMSes and apps subscription for the day.

Jio postpaid plans

Rs. 999
The Rs. 999 postpaid plan included 60GB data and no limitation on how much data be used in a single day. As with the prepaid packs, subscribers of this plan will also get free calls and text messages, as well as the acess to Jio apps. The security deposit for the plan is Rs. 1,150.

Rs. 799                                                                                                                                                                                          
A new plan in the list, the Rs. 799 Jio postpaid plan provides customers 90GB, with daily cap of 3GB a day. Of course, all the freebies like free outgoing calls and SMSes are part of the plan also. But to get access to this pack, the user will have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 950. As with the prepaid plan, it is available only for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus customers.

Rs. 509
With a Rs. 600 security deposit, Jio users will get the Rs. 509 postpaid plan, which provides 2GB data per day. This totals to 60GB data for the complete billing cycle. Additionally, the user will get free calls, texts and access to the company’s apps with the package.

Rs. 409
Another new plan launched with the tariff revision, the Rs. 409 pack comes with 20GB data and has got no limit on how much can be consumed daily. The calls, SMSes and apps are free here also, and the security deposit is Rs. 500.

Rs. 309
With a security deposit of Rs. 400, jio plan provides 1GB data per day to the users. Of course, the other freebies, such as the calls, texts and the apps subscription are also included this plan too.

    It is not fair on the part of Reliance to reduce the authorised days of use once the customer has opted for it. It may be made applicable for next recharge onwards.

    It is not good for Reliance to reduce the given period of use after the commitment given for the customer and the customer has opted for it. It is breach of trust. Reliance shall loose the trust and confidence of the customers. Instead
    of calling as Reliance it shall be called as UnReliance. The charges should have been made applicable for the succeeding recharges.

    It should not be changed in the half way…
    New validity should be applicable from next recharge only..

  6. Naya Co Hai. Public ko give rates as same as on start. Why u increase rate rather reduce validity. Continue in months wise 30 60 90 180 days. As more practical for user rather than reducing the validity. Coustomer fus gaya and now Pl carry with same rates for 2_3 years.

  9. Jio mobile 1500 wala, is USELESS. There is no WhatsApp with this mobile. Moreover, you have to buy new plans and a new SIM with this phone, even if you are already having a Jio Sim. So, it’s better to get back the Rs 500 you paid for booking the Jio phone. However, if you want to give basic phone to your maid or driver or any other employees, it’s ok.

First attracting customers with freebies and good offers now Jio is reducing validity and enhancing recharging amounts. This will definitely compell the customers to Port to other companies and think twice to join Jio.

  16. I have recharge as new plan 399 for 84 days validity…it will continue after working plan is De dhana dhan plan 399 which will be over on 8th Nivember. During Diwali fastival you have offer new plan and we have recharge on your trust for 84 days validity.
    Now how you can reduce as validity of 84 days in upcoming plan of399. This is nothing but cheating with customers. You can change promise as given in plan at time of offer the plan.
    JIO is from Mukesh Anbani and respect to customer first.

  23. customer have no agreement with reliance to use jio services, after a grand success of jio to connect the millions customer with jio a good faith and relation create between jio and the customer.
    but now if the jio rise the price of plans and also reduce the plan validity certainly the customer will move to other provider, i will also change/port my 3 jio numbers to other provider.
    slowly slowly the many other customer also disconnect the jio services.

    so reliance jio need to maintain his customer faith with no price rise & no validity reduce & always serve the best to best services to his customers.

  27. It is not good on part of jio to reduce the validity days from 84 days to 70 days. Thay should remain the same
    commitment as they have promised earlier otherwise they will loose the lakhs of customers. Jio should also improve
    the service network which is not good presently & their battery life is also too short.

  35. Your coverage at many times is very poor.

    Not only that yesterday, there were more than 30 call drops both for incoming and outgoing calls. It happened between7.00 am to 3.30 pm.

    Many times calls are getting disconnected while you are talking to someone.

    In such a situation what is the solution?

  36. Sorry to 8nform you that you are simply cheating the public after grabbing the telecom market share from others lije-airtel, Vodafone, idea etc.
    Shortening of validity period from 84 days to 70 days, rising the tariff from whopping 15% suddenly,
    Reducing speed from 128 to 64 kbps etc, will naturally affect people go back to other reliable operators surely.
    Mr.Mukhesh Ambani should think seriously to retain old schemes at least for Prime members.

Its remind us the greatest offer given by Dhirubhai Ambanis “karlo duniya muththi me” and what happens now of that. Everybody knows well. At least JIo should pay regards to those who have paid their beliefs in JIo and left their old network, if jio changes in the plan as reduce the days or speed or data limit, it will demotivate the customer and they will quit the JIO.   45. I recharged my phone before Diwali for Rs 399.00 on promise of 84days validity and return of Rs400 ininstallments of RSs50.0each.I hope promise made will be honoured.Otherwise it is a case of pure cheating and daylight robbery.

  49. Network coverage at evening time in Shahau Colony , Karve Nagar, Lane no -6, Pune. (7 to 12 pm) is very very poor or almost not available in that time. Request you to work on the same to get complete satisfaction of data plan.

  55. While advertising,Jio had made everyone understand that the revised tariff would not affect those who recharge before the 13th October. Therefore, it is but logical to leave those subscribers who did as advertised by Jio. Otherwise, there will be a credibility lapse entailing legal actions.My outward call in progress gets disconnected automatically whenever there is an incoming call. Coy. to sort out the issue.

  58. COMPAMY MUST STRENGTHEN THEIR SIGNALS AS MOST OF THR TIME SIGNALS NOT AVAILABLE. AS REGARDS REVISION IN RATE VERY FREQUENTLY, Company will face consequence.They should be at par with the market or rather better than market as they have done in the past for capturing others business.As such reputation of Reliance in the customers mind is not at all good, since long they have been cheating public, pl.     • The first 3 months was good there afterwards it is just worst. Yeah, I got JIO wifi and it is damn damn slow..

      I try to call toll free numbers and they express very sorry.. so typical and there goes the line gets disconnected.
      Have made umpteen calls.. they just pick the line and disconnect.. So much of Jio… Sad..

      • It is true that in honeymoon period it was having good speed . But never it was in promised speed now the speed is worse than ever . Ookla is the application of reliance and it shows speed which is not true . Use trai application and the real speed is shown . Really reliance has cheated us all.

There is no sitting arrangement for customer in Jio Office,,First Floor, B.M.Tower, Near Fire Brigade, Madan Lewryng.hep, Shillong, Pin 793014. Being a senior citizen, I was waiting with a coupon collected from your office gate, after 2/3 hours of standing, I returned back to my residence- Really it was my bad experience and I was not expecting such mismanagement from an organisation, owned by India’s most respected industrialist . My question is why you have not issued intimation to customer to collect their set batch by batch – why you have not opened more than one JioPhone issuing centre – Is it possible for a senior and aged citizen to wait for 3/4 hours on standing for collection of the JioPhone set. This, I think, is not a wise move by the Jio, because after giving customers a nice plan and then reverting back the plan (i.e. cutting 90 days to 70 days for e.g) will not be good for the company, because already other’s have started to give some useful plans and Jio should try to counter attack them rather than giving out lamely to them by which Jio could lose a lot of customers. I think Jio should stick to their old plan rather than reverting to new plans, which is not feasible.

    On 25-08-2017, I booked 2 JioPhone sets against my Mobile No.9436116745 and No.9402506622 and and transferred Rs.500=00 each vide transaction ID FV00000437EO and FV0000044HKL respectively. During the last week of October, 2017, I received intimation from the authority of Jio through SMS that I should collect my JioPhone set from the Jio store office in Shillong (Address -Jio store Office, First Floor,B.M.Tower, Near Fire Brigade, Madan Lewrynghep, Shillong-793014). Accordingly, I went to Jio Local Office on 30-10-2017 and collected coupon from the gate keeper. But, on enquiry, I could understand that those who collected the coupon on previous day, were collecting their JioPhone set and those who collected coupon on 30-10-2017, they have to wait till evening. Huge no. of customer were waiting near the gate- there is no arrangement for sitting of the customer in the local Jio office- everybody was standing and waiting with coupon for collection of their JioPhone set. I was also waiting for nearly 3 hours but there was no improvement -I , being a senior citizen became very sick due to standing for long hours. Subsequently I went to Doctor for treatment. I was really sorry for mismanagement of local Jio office. They were least bother about customer. You have intimated all the customer to collect their phone set from single Jio store office at a time, which is located in a very congested area. Due to heavy rush of customer I am affraid to go to Shillong Jio office. So, Kindly fix a date for me to collect the set and I will collect the same from Jio Shillong Office.

    • Initially I was nos not informed to deposit Rs.500/- as an advance. At JIO store they made me to record my name and Gio No. Unfortunately the same Gio phone is of no trace. Even you assured customers that iyou will send SMS when and from where the same to be collected on payment of Rs.1500/- This is not good
      Secondly recently you have revised your plans. Rs 399 does not permit 3 months validity. You have lower it down to 74 days. Is this not a foul play and business tricks? . This is not fair from a renowned Ambani’s Company.

  78. First of all, JIO should improve call servicing ie., both incoming and outgoing.
    Many of the JIO subscribers have common complaint about the very low success rate of the outgoing calls. Though JIO sim is there (in the dual SIM phones) — not many can vouch for its usefulness in making calls.

    Instead of frequently changing the rate plans, JIO should seriously improve upon its service. Let them make a survey of the users to know the usefulness of their JIO connections in the last one year. Very unsatisfactory results will emerge.

    Relaince JIO should concentrate on quality of services immediately, to stand in the market and desiring the grow.

    • I have purchased a plan only last month supposed to be valid for 3 months. And after 1month I’m informed that the plan has changed and I’ll have to buy a new plan to use my jio WiFi.

    First it was free offe, many customers have joined JIO than plan of Rs.309 for 84 days was given

Any revision must be made on a subsequent recharged so that customer will have the liberty to elect to continue the same or alternate one. Therefore it is suggested that the revised number of days validity should be made effective for existing customers only after expiry of existing validity even those customer have done advance recharge as per dipawali offers.

    Otherwise it will be presumed that the company has taken this illegal advantage to cheat the millions customers who are enjoying Jio service. With thanks.

    • Hi! Their is no pack of Rs 491/- . The RC amount would be Rs 499/-. Do call 198 from your jio no and give the transaction id. You will surely get a positive resolution.
