Commuters are facing difficulties in implementation due to the disruption of Metro services during the peak hours of morning and evening. There are about 47 lakh journeys daily on different lines of Delhi Metro. Thousands of commuters are facing the brunt of the Metro service being affected on any line.

DMRC officials had said that there was a slight delay in services on the Blue Line on Sunday due to a fault in a train at Mandi House metro station. Metro services were affected twice for two-three hours after the bird hit the overhead equipment. Most of the passengers were office-goers, who were stranded for more than two hours.

Gehlot made a tweet- This month there are frequent breakdown incidents on various lines of Delhi Metro, causing inconvenience to commuters. He has directed DMRC (@OfficialDMRC) officers to submit its report in 7 days.
