SBI Kisan Credit Card: In today’s time, Kisan Credit Card (KCC) is very useful to make farmers self-reliant while making farming worry-free. This Kisan Credit Card is useful to the farmers for plowing or buying seeds etc. to grow crops. To help the farmers, the central government is running the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, under which Rs 3 lakh is issued to farmers on opening an account with SBI or any other bank.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said on Twitter that the target of the Kisan Credit Card Scheme is to provide loans to farmers at low interest rates through the banking process for their farming and other needs. Farmers can get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) account opened today itself by visiting the nearest bank branch.
Loan of Rs 3 lakh will be available at low interest
The Kisan Credit Card scheme has been launched in an easy way for farmers to get loans at affordable interest rates. Through this scheme, farmers can take a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh at a maximum interest rate of 7 percent. The government also gives a rebate of 3 percent in the interest rate to the farmers who return the loan on time. In this way, 4 percent interest has to be paid on the loan taken under the scheme.
Kisan Credit Card Scheme can be availed by every farmer whose age is between 18 to 75 years. Under this scheme, loans are given for various types of agricultural works.

To take advantage of the Kisan Credit Card scheme, the applicant farmer has to download the KCC form from the PM Kisan portal. Apart from Aadhaar card, PAN card and photo, the applicant will have to provide documents of agriculture in the form. The same will then have to be deposited in State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda (BOB) or any nearest branch. There you will get the loan.
