Under the pension scheme, every pensioner aged between 60 years to 80 years has to submit his life certificate between 1st November to 30th November. Similarly, super senior pensioner aged 80 years has to submit his/her life certificate between 1st October to 30th November. This certificate has to be submitted.

- Department of Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) is providing the facility to submit life certificate through face authentication.
- First of all, pensioners download and install ‘AadhaarFaceRD’ ‘Jeevan Praman Face App’ in their smartphone with 5MP or above camera.
- Keep your Aadhaar number with you. Go to Operator Authentication and do a face scan.
- Fill the requested information. Take a photo of yourself with the phone’s front camera and submit it.
- A link to download your life certificate will come to your phone through SMS, you can download it and keep it with you.
How to submit life certificate through doorstep banking?
- First of all, you have to book a visit to Jeevan Praman Center or your bank for doorstep banking.
- When the operator comes to your home, give him your Aadhaar and mobile number.
- He will verify your ID with the biometric device.
- Once authentication is done, it will generate your digital life certificate.
- You can keep your copy from the operator.

- India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) is providing its customers the facility to do life certificate verification through Postman. This is also a door step banking facility, in which the postman comes to the pensioner’s home and deposits his life certificate.
- Through Umang app, you can also submit life certificate sitting at home. For this you must have 12 digit Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
- The pensioner can submit his life certificate himself by going to the pension disbursing authority i.e. post office or bank. You fill up a form and submit it to the bank. After this the bank officials will submit the life certificate.
