To avail this service through mobile, pensioners can download PostInfo App from Google Playstore. Pensioners will have to provide Aadhaar number, mobile number, bank or post office account number and PPO number. Submit with the signature of the designated officer Pensioners need the signature of a designated official on the life certificate for this. According to the CPAO (Central Pension Accounting Office) scheme booklet, pensioners are required to be physically present. A list of designated officials has been issued, whose signatures are valid for life certificates.

According to paragraph 14.3 of the scheme booklet issued by the CPAO, a pensioner who submits the life certificate in the format of life certificate with the signatures of the officials is not required to appear personally.
