Uttrakhand Government: Uttarakhand government will give three cylinders of LPG Rasoi Gas Cylinder free every year to 1.84 lakh families.
The state government will give this benefit to the families falling in the Antyodaya category. Food Minister Rekha Arya has instructed the Food Secretary to prepare a proposal for this for the cabinet.
The BJP had promised three cylinders every year to poor women during the assembly elections . Apart from this, the state government is considering fulfilling the promise of providing cheap sugar.

The Uttarakhand government said that it stands with every needy person. She is going to take special steps to benefit the families falling in the Antyodaya category. This includes 3 cylinders and free sugar etc. to such families. The government will take the first step for the families of Antyodaya category.

The Food Minister said that on every card, people will get edible oil at subsidized rates. Along with this, wheat-rice-sugar will be given to the people at concessional rates. The Chief Minister will provide mustard or any other edible oil in a fixed quantity every month, on the lines of the pulse funded scheme.

The state government is going to implement the free gas cylinder scheme. Its proposal can be brought in the coming cabinet meeting. In the first phase, Antyodaya will be given to the families.
