On the 1st of August, new rates of LPG cylinders have been issued by the government oil companies. There has been a reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders while there has been no change in the domestic ones.

There has been a big change in the prices of LPG and a reduction of Rs 100 has been seen in the price of commercial cylinders. The effect of cuts has been seen in many cities of the country including the capital Delhi. The price of LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to 1680.

Talking about the price of cylinder in different cities, there has been a reduction of Rs 93 in 19 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata and now it will be available in 1802.50. The price of 19 kg cylinder in Chennai has gone up to Rs 1852.50, in Mumbai it has gone up to Rs 1640.50. Since last days, these prices had increased everywhere.

No change in the price of domestic gas

In the update issued regarding LPG cylinders, the prices of commercial cylinders have definitely come down, but there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas. The 14.2 kg LPG domestic cylinder had become costlier by Rs 50 from March. It costs Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1129 in Kolkata, Rs 1102.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1118.50 in Chennai.
