LPG Cylinder Price Cut: Big relief! LPG cylinder prices reduced from February 1, check the new price

LPG Cylinder Price Cut: Before the budget, government oil companies have given a big relief to the people. The price of LPG cylinder has been reduced from February 1.

LPG Cylinder Price Cut: Only 4 hours are left for the presentation of the General Budget 2025. Even before this, the trends of relief have started coming. Actually, the price of LPG has come down. Oil marketing companies have cut the price of LPG in 19 kg cylinder by Rs 4 to Rs 7 from February 1, 2025. The special thing is that this is the second consecutive month when LPG prices have come down. OMCs revise the prices of LPG cylinders at the beginning of every month.

On February 1, the rate of LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 7. However, this is only for consumers of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders. There has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinder i.e. 14 kg LPG cylinder since August 1, 2024.

How much have the prices come down

According to HT report, according to the latest rate released by Indian Oil, from February 1 today, a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1797. Earlier in January, the price was Rs 1804.

This time also there has been no reduction in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. The last time the price of LPG cylinder was reduced was in August 2024. In Delhi, a 14 kg LPG cylinder is available for Rs 803. The price in Lucknow is Rs 840.50, while the prices in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai are Rs 829, 802.50 and 818.50 respectively.

The latest price cut in LPG prices has come ahead of the Budget 2025 speech of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In such a situation, it is expected that the Finance Minister may amend the excise duty on petroleum products. If the Finance Minister announces any reform related to LPG or other petroleum products, it will be a big relief.
