Google and Apple have also removed SpyLoan from the Play Store. Google has removed 17 Spilon Loan apps from Google Play Store. If these apps are still installed in your phone, delete them. What is the process of scam?
In fact, researchers at cyber security company ESET have discovered some apps which are making people victims of scams by providing loans to people in South East Asia, America and Africa. In 2022, 18 such apps were removed from the store by both Google and Apple. Of these, there were 17 apps which were downloaded more than 12 million times. These apps ask for access to users’ personal data (such as storage media, files, call logs, contact location, bank account, photos, etc.) while giving loans at the time of need and start blackmailing the borrowers as soon as they get the access.
