Automobile News : Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its electric car in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki eVX is likely to be offered in India soon . It has been spotted for the first time during testing in the country.

Recently the production version of the car was introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show. It was also introduced at the Auto Expo 2023 event. The test mule was first spotted in Poland and now it has been seen in Gurugram.

Design and features

The look of the electric SUV is similar to the concept. It has been given an upright front facia. Along with this, empty grille and L-shaped headlamps are available. C-pillar mounted doors are provided in the rear. The SUV gets slim wraparound taillight and integrated roof spoiler. The wheelbase is 2.7 metres. The car is 4.3 meters long.

Powertrain and price

The Maruti Suzuki EVX is based on Toyota’s 40L slateboard architecture. It is equipped with a 60kWH battery pack, which may be capable of delivering a maximum range of 550 kilometers. Maruti Suzuki has not yet shared much information related to the SUV. But it is being estimated that its price in India can range from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25.
