e-ticketing on WhatsApp’ facility. Mumbai Metro One is the world’s first MRTS (Mass Rapid Transit System) to offer e-ticketing on WhatsApp, it has claimed in a release.

this was an extension of the “Paper QR Tickets” currently available through ticket counters. To use this facility, passengers have to send ‘Hi’ message to 9670008889.

-Andheri-Ghatkopar is the first metro route in Mumbai, operational since 2014. Mumbai Metro One carries 2,60,000 people daily. MMOPL also claimed that it has adopted several technological innovations like bank combo cards, mobile QR tickets and loyalty programs.
