MG Motor has launched its new Astor Hybrid+ in Spain. It is also the cheapest HEV SUV available in Spain. The company has priced its base trim at 22,990 euros (about Rs 21.41 lakh).

The company has priced its base trim at 22,990 euros (about Rs 21.41 lakh), 24,990 euros (about Rs 23.27 lakh) for Comfort and 26,990 euros (about Rs 25.13 lakh) for Luxury trim. Its fuel efficiency is around 20 km per liter. CO2 emissions are certified at 115 g/km as per WLTP norms. The new MG Astor Hybrid Plus has received the DGT ECO environmental badge.
Features and Specifications of MG Astor Astor Hybrid+
It has a hybrid setup, which was first introduced with the new MG3. It is also used with some other MG cars. The hybrid system has a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine, which generates 102 PS of power. The electric motor generates 100 kW (136 PS). The combined power output of the new MG Astor Hybrid+ is 196 PS. The hybrid SUV is being offered in a front-wheel drive system. It is equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission.
The new MG Astor Hybrid Plus takes 8.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. It is equipped with a 1.83 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery is 350 volts. It is recharged by a 45-kW generator. The SUV has the capacity to run on fully electric power for a certain period of time under certain conditions. The fuel efficiency of 100Km per 5 liters is quite good, which is around 20 km per liter. CO2 emissions are certified at 115 g/km as per WLTP norms. The new MG Astor Hybrid Plus has got the DGT ECO environmental badge.
The new MG Astor Hybrid Plus with a sporty profile features sleek LED headlamps and LED DRLs, a grille in black finish and polygonal air intakes. The side profile is distinguished by sporty, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, thick cladding and side molding. The hybrid SUV has chrome garnish on the windows, roof rails in chrome finish and body-colored door handles. At the rear, it includes triangular LED tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper.

Talking about its interiors, this SUV has been designed according to comfort. You will get premium vibes in it. The equipment list of the Comfort variant includes multi airbags, automatic light on and rain sensor, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Users also get features like USB port, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital radio, keyless entry and start system, rear view camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Safety kit includes central locking and adaptive cruise control and speed limiter. Talking about ADAS features, it has active emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, driver attention alert, forward collision warning and rear cross traffic alert. It also has features like Intelligent Speed Assistant, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and E-Call emergency call system, 360 degree camera.
