MG Windsor EV has been launched in the Indian market. It has been introduced in three variants which are Excite Exclusive and Essence. The prices of the high-spec variant have not been disclosed by MG. Booking of Windsor will start from October 3 and delivery will be done from October 12. MG Motor has launched the new electric vehicle Windsor in the Indian market. The starting ex-showroom price of this model is Rs 9.99 lakh. The company has brought it with a unique pay-as-you-drive battery rental of Rs 3.5 per kilometer. At the same time, it is giving unlimited battery warranty on it. MG Windsor EV: Design
The rebadged version of the MG Windsor EV follows the Windsor Aero Glide design language. It features vertically stacked headlamps, an illuminated MG logo, a large windscreen with a short hood. It also gets a large lightbar, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and flush-fitting door handles at the rear.
MG Windsor EV: Battery
The Windsor is powered by an IP67-rated 38 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. This battery generates 134 bhp of power and 220 Nm of peak torque. The company is claiming that their vehicle will give a range of up to 331 km. The Windsor takes 55 minutes to charge with DC fast charging.
MG Windsor EV: Booking will start from this day
The company has not yet disclosed the prices of its high-spec variant, but its test drive will start from September 25. At the same time, booking will start from October 3 and delivery from October 12. In the Indian market, it competes with Tata Nexon EV, Curve EV and Mahindra XUV 400.
