BSNL Sim Card Block KYC Update Fraud: Are you also using BSNL SIM card? If yes, then there is a big update for you, it has been told in the SMS that Telecom Regulatory Authority of India i.e. TRAI is going to completely shut down BSNL SIM card. Also, it is being claimed in the message that your SIM card will be closed in the next 24 hours.
Reason for closing SIM card
Actually it has been told in the message that this is being done due to non-updating of KYC. If you do not complete the KYC process now, then your SIM card will be closed. Not only this, a number has also been given in the message where you can complete KYC by calling, but wait, you do not have to call on any such number even by mistake because this is a fraud SMS. Some people are also getting such calls in which it is being said to close the SIM card.

You can be a victim of scam
After the viral message, PIB has also shared a post on X and informed about it. It has been told that no such SMS has been sent by TRAI and BSNL. Also, it has been said in the tweet that this is a fake message. PIB says that if you are also getting such messages, then ignore it. Also, PIB also said that do not call on any number mentioned in the message, because this can put your personal data at risk or you can be cheated.
