The Modi government has given a big gift to the employees before Diwali. Actually the payment of their bonus has been approved. In the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approval has been given for payment of productivity linked bonus. After which an additional Rs 18000 will be sent to the account of railway employees.
The PLB is paid to the eligible railway employees every year before the Durga Puja and Diwali holidays. This year also 11.27 lakh and gazetted railway employees will be paid PLB equivalent to 78 days’ salary. As salary for 78 days, an increase of up to 18000 will be seen in his account.
Their account per eligible railway employee will see an increase of about 17951. The amount will be paid through different categories. Station master, supervisor, technician point including driver-guard will get its benefit. At the same time, bonus is also to be paid to the staff from other Group C.
At the same time, the government has been estimated to spend Rs 1832.09 crores on payment of 78 days bonus to all eligible railway employees. Please tell that the payment of PLB is given as an incentive to motivate the railway employees working towards improving the performance of the railways.
