According to the PMO statement, the NaMo Bharat train will cover the distance of 82 kilometers between Delhi and Meerut in less than an hour, passing through the urban centers of Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Modipuram.
Namo Bharat Train : On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, PM Narendra Modi has gifted the first rapid train to the countrymen. It has been named “Namo Bharat”. The Prime Minister on Friday inaugurated the Regional Rapid Transit System in India. Also flagged off the Rapid-X train connecting Sahibabad and Duhai depots on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Rapid Transit System. It will be launched for the general public on Saturday, October 21.
Namo bharat train timings and fare
Namo Bharat trains will run between 6 am to 11 pm. One train will run every 15 minutes. The fare from Sahibabad to Duhai has been fixed at Rs 50. Whereas for premium class, citizens will have to pay Rs 100.
Specialty of Namo Bharat Train
The train has been equipped with many facilities. According to the PMO statement, this train will cover the distance of 82 kilometers between Delhi and Meerut in less than an hour, passing through the urban centers of Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Modipuram. These trains have been indigenously manufactured. It has a speed capacity of 180 kmph. Fully AC Namo Bharat trains have been designed keeping in mind passenger comfort and safety.

The RapidX corridor is being prepared by the government at a cost of about Rs 30 thousand crores. In the coming time, Namo Bharat trains may be available every 5 minutes. Soon PM Modi can also launch Rapid App. Train booking, fares and other information including location will be available to passengers on this app. Apart from this, computer card can also be launched.
