In this meeting, an important discussion has been held on the implementation of the seventh pay scale for the contractual employees.

Demand for regularization of employees

The important issue was raised by the employee leaders in the meeting held by the employees organization in Uttar Pradesh. In which it was said that the contractual employees working for more than 15 years relative to the posts created should be regularised. Along with this, along with regularizing the contract teachers of the schools run by the Social Welfare Department, Child Development, Transport Corporation and Tribal Development Department, they should be given the benefit of seventh pay.

In the same meeting, the Chief Secretary said that instructions have been given in this regard. Such cases will be re-examined in the concerned departments. Also, keeping in view the interests of the employees, instructions have been given to take quick decisions as per the rules. In the meeting, the cadre review of the employees of the Food and Supplies Department has been pending for a long time. Instructions have been given in this regard that the under review case of Food and Logistics Department should be disposed of in a time bound manner.

Gift of seventh pay scale

Earlier, the Yogi Nath Aditya government of Uttar Pradesh gifted the seventh pay scale to the contractual employees of the state. Several thousand employees and doctors will be benefited by this decision of the government. However, after this decision of the Yogi Adityanath government, all such employees posted on contract in the departments of the state government will get its benefit, who are appointed in a transparent manner after completing the formalities in relation to the post created on the basis of the advertisement issued for the recruitment. went. These people will be provided minimum pay relative to their post in the seventh pay scale.

Additional burden of Rs 29 crore

Till now the benefit of minimum wage at the level of sixth pay scale was being given to the contractual employees. Number of contract employees: After the announcement of giving seventh pay scale to 2150 contract employees, an additional burden of Rs 29 crore will be seen on the government.

Under the rule, such contract employees have been created regularly but work continuously from the year 2013-14 before that and their appointment has been done in a transparent manner under the selection process. Along with this, he also fulfills the minimum qualification required for this post. With the decision of the cabinet, the employees will get benefits ranging from 3000 to 11898 per month.

Government clarification on old pension scheme issued

Here in Uttar Pradesh, the government has also issued a clarification on the old pension scheme. The position was clarified by the government in the budget session. In the same meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra, on February 24, it was said that the demand for restoration of old pension has already been properly discussed. It is not fair to compare with other states on this issue. There is no idea of ​​implementing the old pension scheme in the state.
