New Petrol-Diesel Price Today: In the last one and a half months, oil companies have not made any change in the rate of petrol-diesel. This will help in reducing the level of inflation. On the other hand, companies also reduced the price of commercial gas cylinders on Friday.
Petrol-Diesel Price Today 1st July: New rates of LPG cylinders were issued by the oil companies on the first day of the month. The common man has breathed a sigh of relief due to the steep fall in prices. On the other hand, petrol-diesel prices remain at the old level. There was no change in the rate in the last one and a half months.
About a month and a half ago (May 21), the excise duty on petrol-diesel was cut by the government . After which there was a big fall in the price of oil. Keeping oil prices stable and the efforts made by the government have helped in bringing down the level of inflation.
Mixed trend in
the price of crude oil On Thursday, a mixed trend was seen in the price of crude oil. WTI crude prices rose slightly to $ 106.6 per barrel and Brent crude fell to $ 114.8 per barrel. Some states also reduced VAT after the excise duty was cut by the government. On 21 May 2022, the excise duty was reduced by the government by Rs 8 on petrol and Rs 6 on diesel.

Giving a big relief on LPG Cylinder Price on Friday morning, oil companies have cut the price by Rs 198. In the capital Delhi, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will be available for Rs 2021 instead of Rs 2219. Similarly, Rs 2140 will be available in Kolkata, Rs 1981 in Mumbai and Rs 2186 in Chennai.
