Important news for employees. Actually the rule has been amended for them. Which will be mandatory to believe. The same has been implemented by the state government for all government employees, daily wage earners and contract employees.
Employees New Rule: There is big news for the employees. From April 1, the rule has been changed for them, which is very important for the employees to follow. In case this does not happen, action will be taken against the employees. Along with this, their salary can also be stopped.
In Jharkhand, it has been made mandatory for all the employees working under the state government, be it permanent or temporary, to register Aadhaar based biometric attendance. Amendments have been made in the rule by the government from 1st April. All the employees have been instructed by the state government that biometric attendance is mandatory from April 1. In this, along with contract workers, daily wage workers will also be included.
The notification has been issued by Asif Hasan, Deputy Secretary, Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language. A copy of the same notification has been sent along with the Accountant General to all departments, divisional commissioners including deputy commissioners and secretariats and institutions. It states that the obligation to mark daily attendance under the Aadhaar based biometric attendance system will be equally applicable to all government employees and other serving employees.
Exemption to these employees
Not only this, it has been said in the issued rule that it has been made mandatory to register biometric attendance of such employees who have been employed for a period of 3 months. In this, contract as well as daily wage earners have also been included. However, employees working on employment for less than 3 months are exempted from this.
First of all, the biometric system was implemented in the Department of Health and Family Welfare. It was intended to start the prescribed process of registering online attendance in the biometric attendance system. In which it has been decided to implement it later.
