What is PUC rule?
It is necessary to remove a certain amount of pollution from vehicles. Therefore, a standard range has been fixed for them. If the fumes from vehicles fall in this range, then they are given a pollution control certificate. The issued certificate is valid for 3 months and after that it can be renewed after getting the vehicle checked again.

What is the penalty for PUC?
Under section 190(2) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1993, if you do not have or have expired a vehicle, you can be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to Rs 10,000, or with both. In addition, delinquent drivers will also be disqualified from holding a driving license for three months. As per the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, all motor vehicles that fall within BS-I/BS-II/BS-III/BS-IV standards or all vehicles running on CNG/LPG must have this certificate while driving. .
From where can I get PUC made?
You can get the Pollution Control Certificate from the Pollution Check Center (Pollution Check Center) present at the petrol pumps of every state. For this, you have to take your vehicle to the pollution check center for testing. Where a gas analyzer connected to a computer checks the pollution emanating from the vehicle and takes a photo of the license plate of the vehicle and the Pollution Control Certificate of your vehicle is issued.
