The categories in which applications are made under Special Category are as follows. Like sibling quota, alumni, distance from home to school, first child, EWS category etc. If you are applying under any of these categories, then collect the necessary documents related to them on time. Which document for which category
- If you want to avail the benefit of alumni category, that is, if either of the husband or wife has studied from the same school and wants to take advantage of it, then they can submit the mark sheets of 10th and 12th. You can also attach other documents related to this which show that you have studied there.
- If you are applying under the category of first child, then you will have to give an affidavit.
- If you are applying under neighborhood, that is, your house is near a school, then you can apply through electricity-water bill, voter ID card or bank statement.
- If you are applying under sibling quota, you can attach the ID card and fee slip of the child already studying in school. Documents related to the category under which you apply must be presented at the time of admission.
- These are some rough rules but they are subject to change depending on the school. It would be better to read the school’s prospectus once for accurate information.
- If you are unable to provide the relevant documents, you can fill the request form. Then your records are checked. On this basis the admission process progresses.
