How to apply?
Step 1: First of all you have to go to the Income Tax website (https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/).
Step 2: Now select the option of e-PAN.
Step 3: After this you have to select Apply for Instant PAN.
Step 4: Now you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
Step 5: After entering the Aadhaar number, fill the OTP received on the linked mobile number.
Step 6: Now fill the correct email ID and all other information and submit.
After submitting the form, e-PAN will come to your email ID in about 30 minutes. You can download it in PDF format. If you want, you can also apply for PAN card by visiting the official website of NSDL.
What is PAN 2.0?
PAN 2.0 is also a type of PAN card. This PAN card is digital i.e. it is a paperless card. This card has a QR code. Information of the PAN holder can be found through this QR code.
