To change the PAN card, one has to first go to the official website of National Securities Depository Limited i.e. NDLS – https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html -.
On going here you will see two options ‘Apply Online’ and ‘Registered User’. Here you have to choose whether you want to apply for a new PAN card or make changes in the existing PAN card.
- For change, select ‘Correction in existing PAN’ and click on it.
- After this you have to select the category type, in this you choose individual.
- Now you have to give all the information asked below, then enter the captcha code and click on submit.
- Now you have to select the KYC option.
- Now two options will appear in front of you. Photo mismatch and signature mismatch. You have to choose one of the two according to your need.
- Now you have to give all the information of your parents and after that click on Next button.
- After entering all the information, users will have to submit many other documents including ID proof.
- Now tick the declaration and then submit.
- A copy of the printout of the application has to be sent to the Income Tax PAN Service Unit. It is possible to track the application by acknowledgment number.
