- To update PAN through NSDL e-Governance website, visit the e-Governance portal.
- After this go to ‘Services’ tab and select ‘PAN’ from the dropdown menu.
- Then scroll down to find the section titled ‘Changes/Corrections in PAN Data’ and select ‘Apply’.
- ‘Click to Apply’ under the ‘Changes/Corrections in PAN Card’ tab.
- ‘Apply for change/correction in PAN card details’.
- Select the document submission method, enter your PAN number, select PAN card mode and click on ‘Submit’.
- After registration, you will receive a token number. Click OK.’
- Fill in your name and address. Then click on ‘Next Step’.
- Enter your PAN number for verification and click on ‘Next Step’.
- Upload the required documents and then click on ‘Submit’ button.
- Note: PAN correction usually takes around 15 days. You will receive a text message on your registered mobile number when your PAN card is sent through post.
