Currently getting pension of Rs 1000
The Chief Minister gave this information during the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 145 development projects costing Rs 688 crore for the district at Tiranga Maidan in Auraiya. While assuring the women in a public meeting, he said that ‘destitute sisters’ (widows, elderly women) are currently being given a pension of Rs 1,000 per month, which will be increased in the future.

It has been decided to increase this amount to Rs 25 thousand from the new session.

Yogi said that the ‘double engine’ government has decided that if the financial condition of the family is not good, then the government will take the responsibility of the daughter. Targeting the opposition parties, especially the Samajwadi Party (SP), the Chief Minister said that those who promoted nepotism in the name of casteism were depriving the common people of development works. We have not committed the sin of tearing apart the social fabric in the name of caste, family, region and language.
