Old Age Pension: The Chief Minister made this announcement on the occasion of the conclusion of ‘Haryana Agricultural Development Fair-2023’. He said that soon the old age pension in the state will be increased from Rs 2750 to Rs 3000 per month.
Haryana Old Age Pension 2023: For the last few months, different state government employees have been demanding restoration of the old pension. Recently, the voice of restarting the old pension scheme was also heard in Ramlila Ground of Delhi.
Congress ruled states have accepted the demands of the employees and started giving the old pension. Amidst all this, the Chief Minister has announced to increase the old age pension available in Haryana. Yes, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced to increase the amount of Old Age Pension Scheme.
SYL canal will also be built
The Chief Minister made this announcement on the occasion of the conclusion of ‘Haryana Agricultural Development Fair-2023’. He said that soon the old age pension in the state will be increased from Rs 2750 to Rs 3000 per month. During this period, he lashed out at the Delhi government regarding the Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal. The fair organized at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University said that SYL Canal will be built after the approval of the Supreme Court.

In Haryana, the amount of pension given to the elderly has been increased from Rs 2750 to Rs 3000. The Chief Minister announced this in the Jan Samvad program. Lakhs of beneficiaries of the state will get the benefit of increasing old age pension. The beneficiaries are also very happy with the announcement of increase in pension amount by about 9 to 10 percent. Apart from this, CM Khattar said that common markets will soon be created in the state. Farmers’ millet crop is currently being procured.
At present, government procurement of millet is being done in the market at Rs 2200 per quintal. Later, under the scheme, those who have sold the millet crop after September 25 will be given a separate amount of Rs 300. During this fair, five farmers were also given a reward of lakhs of rupees.
