Pensioners Pension Update 2023: There is a latest update for lakhs of pensioners of Rajasthan. Those pensioners who have not yet got physical verification done under the social security pension should get it done by June 30, otherwise the pension may get stuck or stopped. There is a provision for annual physical verification in the month of November-December every year to confirm the survival of the pensioner in social security pension schemes. Four options are also available for this, the details of which are given below.
Verify before June 30
Actually, through the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, various pensions are given by the Government of Rajasthan in the Social Security Scheme. According to the information issued by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, it is mandatory for the beneficiary of social security pension schemes to get annual physical verification and seeding done by June 30, 2023. According to the department, the pension of the pensioners who have not got the annual physical verification done, has been stopped, which they will get along with the arrears after getting the verification done.
Pensioners will get stuck without verification
According to media reports, out of 2 lakh 36 thousand 216 pensioners in Dungarpur district, one lakh 97 thousand 281 people have got their verification done, but there are 38 thousand 935 people who have not yet got their annual verification done. Same in another district also 28000 pensioners have not got the verification done, in this case this figure of the entire state is about 10 lakh 65 thousand 58, in such a situation, if the verification is not done till June 30, their pension may get stuck. Beneficiaries whose Aadhaar and Janadhaar are not linked with the pension payment order, or any pensioner’s Janadhaar or Aadhaar is wrongly linked on the pension portal, or the gender is wrong, they should submit Aadhaar card, Janadhaar card and pension payment order to the concerned pension acceptor. Present the application in person in the officer’s office.
Verification can also be done by these methods
- For annual physical verification by the pensioner, finger print biometrics can be done at E-Mitra Kiosk, Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, E-Mitra Plus etc. centers.
- Pensioners can get their PPO, Aadhaar card or Jan Aadhaar card present in the subdivision office and get their annual verification done in case of any difficulty in biometric verification by print.
- Physical verification of pensioners deprived of fingerprint biometrics can also be done through iris scan.
- If the pensioner appears personally in front of the Pension Sanctioning Officer (Development Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer), then the officer will appear physically on the basis of the OTP received on the registered mobile of the pensioner after entering the PPO number of the concerned pensioner on the SSP portal through his own SSO ID. Verification can be done.
