Petrol Diesel Price Today 29th March: New rates of petrol and diesel have been released. Even today people have not got relief from rising oil prices.
Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the seventh time after the elections. Today i.e. on Tuesday, after this increase, petrol in Delhi and diesel in Rajasthan has crossed 100.
After the increase of 80 paise per liter in petrol prices, the price of petrol in Delhi has crossed Rs 100 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel was increased by 70 paise per liter on Tuesday.
In this way, petrol has become costlier by Rs 4.80 in Delhi in 7 days. At the same time, diesel has also become costlier by Rs 4 to 80 paise. Now a liter of petrol in Delhi will cost Rs 100.21 and for diesel Rs 91.47. Earlier on March 21, the price of petrol in the capital was Rs 95.41 and diesel Rs 86.67 per liter.
Those who filled the tanks of their vehicles for petrol and diesel immediately after the elections, may not have benefited much, but those who have filled the gallons of oil, today they are cutting silver.
The elections ended on March 7 and the prices of petrol and diesel started rising from March 22. Oil companies have continued to hike petrol and diesel prices from March 22 (except March 24).

Relief continued for 137 days
Petrol and diesel prices were increased on 22 March after remaining stable for a record 137 days. After this, on 23 March also their prices were increased by 80 paise per liter. Prices were kept stable on 24 March, after which petrol and diesel prices have increased across the country on 25 March.
After this, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased on 26 and 27 March also. The prices of petroleum products remained stable since November 4, 2021, before the assembly election process began in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. However, the price of crude oil rose up to $140 per barrel during this period.
