The Central Government has launched PM Aawas Yojna to provide housing for the poor and middle class people.
Under this scheme, it works to provide houses for the people of all the states and union territories across the country. For this, it provides subsidies for the poor and middle income group people.
In this sequence, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has also set a target of constructing one lakh new houses. According to media reports, the target of giving subsidy on the house has been started.
In the next 100 days, the Central Government will construct 1 lakh houses and 8200 houses under the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme. For this, Keshav Prasad Maurya in Uttar Pradesh has started work by preparing an action plan. For this, the registration of beneficiaries will be started by the government.
It is noteworthy that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the poor and middle class people provide subsidy to buy houses. For your information, let us tell you that interest is given on the rate of home loan to buy a subsidized house. The maximum limit for this has been kept at Rs 2.67 lakh.
The point to be noted here is that earlier home loans were available only from 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs. Which has now been increased to Rs 18 lakh.
