Changed rules of PM housing 

Now according to the new rule, the government will see whether you live in your residence for the first five years or not. This agreement will be converted into a lease deed if you are residing in it. Otherwise, under the new rule, the development authority will also terminate the agreement made with you and you will not get your amount back. That is, overall now the rigging going on in it will stop.

Changed rules for flat too 

Along with this, let us tell you that now according to the terms and conditions, the flats built under the Urban Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will not be free hold. That is, now even after five years, people will have to stay on lease. Actually, the government has done this so that those who used to rent a house under the PM Awas Yojana can no longer do so.

Know what the rules say

According to the rules of PM Awas Yojana, if an allottee dies, then his property will be transferred to the family member on lease. The government will not enter into any agreement with any other family of KDA. Under this agreement, the allottees will have to use the houses for 5 years. After this the lease of the houses will be restored.
