On the other hand, if you do not use the house allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, then the development authority will deprive you of this PM Awas Yojana. Also your contract will be cancelled. In such a situation, you will not be able to get the amount you have deposited.
At the same time, flats built under the urban Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will not be kept for free. Even after completion of five years, PM Awas Yojana will be given on lease. In such a situation, now people will not be able to rent the house allotted under this scheme. These rules have been brought to stop the increasing rigging regarding PM Awas Yojana.
PM transferred 700 crores in bank accounts
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday transferred Rs 700 crore through DBT in the bank accounts of more than 1 lakh 47 thousand beneficiaries of Tripura. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana rural, the beneficiaries have been given a grant for their pucca house. PM Modi spoke to Anita, the beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin. PM Modi said that I can give you a pucca house, but only you can give a strong future to your children, so educate your children. PM Modi asked another beneficiary whether you have to bribe someone or take the first installment to apply for PM Awas Yojana-Gramin. If given, tell me. On this the beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana said that no, I did not have to pay any bribe.
