According to reports, assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana this year while Lok Sabha elections are to be held next year. In such a situation, the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi can be increased up to 50 percent. That is, if the government increases the amount, then farmers can get nine thousand instead of six thousand annually.
