There is good news for the beneficiaries who are taking advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In fact, before the release of the 13th installment, good news has come out for the farmers. In which they will be provided loan without guarantee.
PM Kisan Ekyc-13th Installments: There is good news for crores of farmers of the country. Big relief has been given by the government to the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana before the next installment. In fact, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, an amount of Rs 6000 is sent every year to the farmers’ account. 2000 is paid in three equal installments of Rs. At present, the amount of 12th installment has been transferred to the farmer’s account.
According to the new update, the amount of 13th installment can be sent to the account in the month of January or early February. Farmers will have to be deprived of their next installment due to negligence in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. On which now a big relief has been given to the farmers by the government.
Giving information, the government said that it is very important for all the farmers to get OTP based eKYC done. With the help of the portal, farmers can easily complete the work of eKYC sitting at home. Although earlier the last date for eKYC was fixed as 31 August 2022. Now it has been extended again. At the same time, the compulsion of the date has also been abolished. It will be mandatory for the farmers taking advantage of this scheme to get EKYC done. Farmers will be able to contact their nearest CSC center to get biometric best e-KYC done.
Compulsory to get e-KYC done
Apart from this, important instructions were also issued by the government. In which it was said that many times farmers are negligent while registering. Due to which many mistakes remain in their registration process. Due to wrong filling of Aadhaar number, bank account number etc., many farmers are still deprived of the installments sent earlier. Before the release of the 13th installment of PM Kisan Samman, it will be mandatory for all farmers to get e-KYC done. In the event of this not happening, the amount of the 13th installment will be released only to the beneficiaries who have got EKYC done.
Target to give loan of Rs 100 crore by March 2023
The very good news that has come to the notice of the farmers before the release of the next installment amount. Under this, an agreement has been signed between agriculture tech company Origo Commodities and fintech company Vivritti Capital. In which the company will give loan up to two crore rupees to the farmer producer organizations without any guarantee. In this case, it has been said on behalf of the Origo community that the company has set a target of giving a loan of Rs 100 crore by March 2023 through the digital platform.
1.86 crore ineligible farmers caught in 6 months
At the same time, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, crores of farmers are taking advantage of the facility. The 12th installment amount has been released to the farmers. Prior to this, the number of beneficiary farmers has decreased by 1.86 crore in the last 6 months under Aadhaar linking, correct data cleaning and fourth digital filter.
More than 10.45 crore farmers had received the 11th installment amount. The amount of the same 12th installment has been released only to eight crore 58 lakh farmers. The major reason behind the decreasing number of farmers is their ineligibility. There has been a decline in the number of office eligible farmers in five states. Due to Ekyc, 58 lakh farmers have reduced in Uttar Pradesh while in Punjab the figure has come down from 17 lakh to 2 lakh.
PM farmer’s team will be sent from village to village
E KYC has been implemented for the farmers to identify the eligible farmers keeping the transparency in the scheme. Also, payment is being made through sending Aadhaar payment. The Center along with the State had asked to send the team of PM Kisan from village to village so that only the real entitled can get the benefit of the scheme.
