PM Kisan: To prevent fraud, the government has taken this step that before the 12th installment, eKYC will have to be done compulsorily by July 31. Also, for new registration, now ration card will have to be given. Without this the next installment will not be released to the farmers.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: There is good news for the farmers listed under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. The government has extended the deadline to complete the mandatory e-KYC till July 31, 2022. Earlier this deadline was set as May 31, 2022

According to a notice on PM Kisan Portal, “eKYC deadline for all PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st July 2022

The government has extended the deadline for the second time in two weeks. This decision of the Center came a few days after PM Narendra Modi transferred the 11th installment to the farmers’ accounts under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Ration card necessary for new registration

To prevent fraud, the government has now made ration card mandatory for new registration. While making new registration, you will also have to apply your ration card. This will stop fraud to a great extent.

Recovery from ineligible farmers

Many such cases had come to the notice of the government that two people of the same family are taking advantage of PM Kisan Yojana. Apart from this, information was also received that 6,000 rupees are coming annually in the account of income tax filers and government servants. Action is being taken by the government against such beneficiaries and they have been asked to return the amount by sending a notice. Action is being taken on the basis of the information given by the state government.

  3. Click on eKYC option on the right side of the homepage.
  4. Enter your aadhar card number and captcha code and click on search
  5. Enter your mobile number which is linked with your Aadhar card.
  6. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  7. All your details must match for eKYC to be successful.
  8. If it is not, then you will have to visit the local Aadhaar Seva Kendra.It is worth noting that farmers will also be able to complete e-KYC offline by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). They need to carry their Aadhar card to complete their KYC verification.
