A decision may be taken to give 8 thousand rupees annually instead of 6 thousand to the farmers. Its benefit can be given from April 1, 2023. However, no confirmation has been made in this regard by the government so far.
May increase to 2000
In fact, currently farmers are given annual financial assistance of Rs 6,000 under PM Kisan Yojana, while now there are discussions that income support under PM Kisan can be increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 per year. This amount can be given in 4 installments every three months instead of 3 installments. According to media reports, the increase in PM Kisan amount may be for one year and after that it will be reviewed.

Significantly, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) is a big scheme of the Central Government, this scheme was started by PM Narendra Modi in the year 2019.
