PNB is offering credit card and overdraft facility for making fixed deposits. But only those with salary salary can take advantage of this facility.
Government-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced the launch of its pre-qualified credit card with a host of features including insurance coverage.
But this facility will be given only to those who have salary account in this bank. They will be able to apply through mobile banking app PNB One, website or Internet Banking Service (IBS). The bank has given this information by issuing a statement.
The bank will offer this service under two platforms – RuPay and Visa.
It has also introduced a new facility of overdraft against fixed deposit in just a few clicks and one OTP on PNB One.
Customers can avail the loan without visiting the bank branch, it said, adding that there is a concession of 0.25 per cent on the interest rate for applying through a digital platform like PNB One.
