However, no announcement in this regard was made by the Railway Board at that time. But now the Railway Ministry has directed all its zones to increase the dearness allowance of railway employees.
Let us inform that in the month of February, the Central Government had decided that now central employees will get 34 percent dearness allowance. It was also said from the central government that this dearness allowance would be given from the month of January itself. It will be paid in May along with the salary of April.
In view of this order of the Central Government, now the Ministry of Railways has requested all its zones to pay the railway employees and pensioners according to the increased dearness allowance from the month of January itself.
