55 lakhs have faced theft in 4 months

While giving information, Railways has told that in the last 4 months, goods worth about Rs 55 lakh have been stolen in the trains running from Bilaspur zone. According to media reports, goods worth Rs 55 lakh 97 thousand 406 have been stolen in the last four months.

How much theft was faced

Please tell that in the last four months, 12886 face towels have been stolen, the cost of which is Rs 559381. At the same time, 18208 bedsheets have been stolen in 4 months by passengers traveling in AC. Its price is around Rs.2816231. Apart from this, 19767 pillow covers have been stolen, which cost Rs 1014837, 2796 blankets cost Rs 1171999, 312 pillows cost Rs 34956.

Jail and punishment can be

While giving information, Railways has told that stealing goods in this way is legally wrong. Railways will take action against such passengers under the Railway Property Act 1966. In this, the passengers will be fined as well as punished. In this, you have a provision of jail for a maximum of 5 years and fine is also imposed by the Railways.
