Vacancy detail
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 1303 vacancies will be filled in Central Railway. According to the information, these recruitments are going to be done under GDCE quota. These total posts include 732 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot, 255 posts of Technician, 234 posts of Junior Engineer and 82 posts of Guard/Train Manager.
Application Requirements
- The applying candidate must be a regular employee of Central Railway as on 1 August 2023.
- Apart from this, should be appointed in Railways on or before 1 August 2021.
- Candidates who have resigned or transferred from Central Railway to any other Railway will not be considered for empanelment.
Prescribed age limit
The age of General Category candidates applying for this recruitment has been fixed at 42 years, OBC category candidates at 45 years and SC/ST category candidates at 47 years.
Educational qualification
- Assistant Loco Pilot – Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes in trades or 3 years Diploma in various trades in Engineering disciplines.
- Technician Posts:- Must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC and ITI from NCVT/ SCVT recognized institutes.
- JE Posts – Three years Diploma in any sub stream combination of Basic Stream from a recognized Institute is essential.
