Railway Recruitment Cell is going to conduct bumper recruitment on Western Railway Apprentice posts. Railway has also issued notification for this. Western Railway has invited applications for the recruitment of 3,624 Apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment through the official website of RRC Western Railway, rrc-wr.com. The application process for recruitment to Railway Apprentice posts has started from June 27. The application forms will be filled by July 26.

Educational qualification
Matriculation with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board of School Education or 10th class pass under 10+2 system of examination. Apart from this, ITI certificate should be obtained in the related trade from NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit
To apply for Apprentice posts in Railways, the age of the candidate should be between 15 years and 24 years on 26 July 2023. The reserved category will get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government. There is a relaxation of three years for OBC category candidates, five years for SC, ST category and ten years for PwD candidates.
How will be the selection
Applicants eligible for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 will be selected on the basis of a merit list, which will be prepared taking into account the average percentage of marks obtained by the applicants in both the Matriculation and ITI examinations, with equal weightage in both. importance will be given. Railway will not organize any written test or viva for this recruitment.
Application fee
SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates will not have to pay any kind of fee to apply for the recruitment of Apprentice posts in Western Railway. And the general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. The application fee has to be paid through debit, credit card or net banking.
