Railway Recruitment 2023: There is great news for the candidates who want to work in Indian Railways. Western Railway has also started the application process by releasing the Group C, D Recruitment 2023-24 notification.
The most special thing about this recruitment drive is that 10th pass candidates can also apply for these posts. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of Western Railway rrc-wr.com.
Date of application
According to the notification, the application process for Group C, D posts has started from November 10. Whereas, the last date to apply has been fixed as 19 December 2023.

Educational qualification
Different qualifications have been fixed for different posts. For Level 5/4, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college. For Level 3/2, it is mandatory to have passed 12th (10+2) examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board or have done Apprentice course or ITI certificate course after 10th.
Whereas, for Level 1, candidates should have 10th pass or ITI certificate from a recognized board. We recommend that before applying, read the official recruitment notification once and get complete information related to eligibility.
Age Range
To apply for the posts, the minimum age limit of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024.
Application fee
Western Railway is charging Rs 500 as application fee to apply for these posts. However, Rs 400 will be refunded to the eligible candidates later as per the notification. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities/Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Class candidates will have to pay Rs 250 as application fee.
