Distribution of special subsidized gifts
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Shah had made a big announcement. In which it was said that before Durga Puja, special subsidized gifts will be distributed in jute bags to all ration card holders through the public distribution system. In which mustard oil, pulses, 1 kg sugar and 2 kg flour along with 500 grams of flour will be provided. Chief Minister Manik Shah said that for the first time, the Tripura government is providing subsidized mustard oil to all the ration card holders of the state as part of its election promises before the assembly elections.
Ration card holders will be given this benefit at a special price of Rs 113 per liter initially. Earlier it was decided that mustard oil would be sold at the rate of Rs 128 per liter. However, an additional subsidy of Rs 15 has been given in it. Out of total 9 lakh bags, 3.58 lakh bags have reached the state for 9.70 ration card holders of the state. In the first phase, out of total 2056 shops in 8 districts, 600 have been converted into model ration shops.
Himachal: 500 grams extra sugar to consumers
On the other hand, major preparations are being made by the Himachal government. Under this, the government can give 500 grams additional sugar to consumers on Diwali. Its proposals have been prepared by the Food Civil and Supply Affairs Department. It has been sent for government approval. Every year the government provides extra sugar to consumers on Diwali.
There are 19 lakh ration card holders in Himachal Pradesh. A proposal has been made to give 500 grams additional sugar to the consumer per card. In this matter, Consumer Affairs Director Ramkumar Gautam says that every year 500 grams of sugar is given to the consumer on Diwali. The proposal has been sent to the government. On getting approval, benefits will be given to ration card holders.
