MP Election News: Amidst the preparations for the ongoing assembly elections in five states, BJP President JP Nadda has released the manifesto in Madhya Pradesh. He described the manifesto as BJP’s ‘resolution letter’ and said that he congratulates everyone on Diwali. Recently, PM Modi had announced to extend the free food scheme for five years to 80 crore beneficiaries of 15 crore families of the country. Now BJP President in Madhya Pradesh has made another announcement for ration card holders.
Also promised to provide domestic cylinder for Rs 450
While releasing the BJP’s resolution letter, he said that the beneficiaries will get more benefits under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. He said that wheat, rice and pulses are already being given. But now mustard oil and sugar will also be given along with it. He said that a decision has been taken by BJP to provide this benefit to the eligible beneficiaries. During this, he also promised to give domestic cylinder for Rs 450.
BJP President said that according to the manifesto, along with the benefits of Ladli Behna Yojana, one lakh women will also be provided the facility of permanent house. Women and girls are being empowered through Ladli Lakshmi and Brahmin Yojana. Rs 3 lakh crore will be given for the welfare of tribals. On this occasion, he said that BJP has fulfilled what it has said till date. Madhya Pradesh is the first state to provide medical education.
Earlier last week, while addressing an election rally in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi had made a big announcement for the 80 crore people of the country. He had said that the Central Government is extending the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for the next five years. It was decided by the Cabinet in December 2022 to continue the scheme till December 31, 2023. Now PM Modi has announced to extend this scheme till 31 December 2028.
