The old rules will be valid-
If you want to exchange ₹ 2000 note at the regional office of RBI in these 19 cities, then the old rules will apply. Meaning, you will still be able to exchange only 10 notes of ₹ 2000 at a time i.e. ₹ 20,000. If you cannot go in person, you can send your notes to the regional office of RBI by Indian Post.
